Sea Stack

This blog has been more like 'a photo every other day' lately. I've been busy, not forgetful. The kind of busy where I'm away from my computer for long periods of time, and when I'm actually on the computer, have a dozen other things to do.

Anyway, today's photo was taken in the summer of 2005. It was shot in Olympic National Park, in Washington state. This is the western edge of the park, where huge sea stacks line the Pacific shore. It was amazingly beautiful there. We were on this beach right around low tide, and there were tidal pools full of starfish and anemones. It was also right around sunset, the only time I've seen the sun set over the ocean (I have seen many sunsets over Lake Michigan).
