The title says it all. I post an original photo (nearly) every day, and write a few comments on each one. They're not all great photos, and they don't all show perfect photographic technique (I'm way too fond of chance and happy accidents to always aim for perfection). I hope they are all interesting.

O'Hare Bleak
It's been a while since I posted a photo taken with my Nishika camera, so here's one.
This was taken in April, '07, in a parking lot close to one of the runways at Chicago's O'Hare Airport. The plane coming in for a landing, the telephone poles, and the large expanse of gray, grainy sky combine to create a bleakness that I like here.
I tried a cyanotype print of this image on neon green fabric, but I didn't really like the way it turned out. This photo needs all of the gray to be effective.
