This was shot out of an Amtrak train window on the outskirts of Portland in July, 2010. I like the color shift in the sky from the polarized window, and how the trees on the right side of the photo are sharp while the rest of the scene has motion blur.

Day two of Noise week. This is almost a good photo. I'd love it if not for my reflection in the window this old, faded poster was taped to.

Here's the second set of contest-winning themes. For the next week, I'm posting images around the theme of noise, suggested by Pam. I'm not sure I can explain why I've chosen these specific photos to fit this theme. I didn't overthink it, I just let intuition lead the way.
