Corona Heights

This is a digital infrared photo shot in Corona Heights park in San Francisco. The filter placed on the camera to absorb most of the visible light spectrum makes for long exposure times, even in bright sunny weather (making blurred motion more likely). It also necessitates setting the ISO on the camera pretty high (it was set at 1600 for this photo). The graininess that often results from the high ISO is usually welcomed by people shooting digital infrared, as it mimics the look of infrared film.
