The title says it all. I post an original photo (nearly) every day, and write a few comments on each one. They're not all great photos, and they don't all show perfect photographic technique (I'm way too fond of chance and happy accidents to always aim for perfection). I hope they are all interesting.

95th
These photos were taken from a windowside seat at the Signature Room on the 95th, a lounge on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building in Chicago. I was there with friends from out of town who were visiting this past summer.
One of my out of town friends (who used to live in Chicago) suggested the Signature Room. The Hancock building has an observation floor, located just below the Signature Room on the 94th floor. It's about $12 per person to go up there. The Signature Room's drinks are overpriced (also about $12 each), but for that price, you get a drink and a view, instead of just the view. The chocolate martini I had there was pretty good, too.
