I just bought a new camera, and took it to my mom's house in Michigan over the weekend to practice using it. This is one of those shots.
So far, I'm very happy with this camera. I've been intrigued by this particular model since it went into production about 16 months ago, and finally found a really good price on it.
I'm on spring break this week, and hopefully will be practicing with it a lot more over the next few days.

Have fun with your new camera. You are fortunate that your profession gives you a legitimate reason to buy new gadgets.
If only I could find a way to justify an iPad. :)
