This shot was taken on Navy Pier, Chicago's most annoying tourist trap, a couple of years ago. Although it's overcrowded, overpriced (parking there necessitates taking out a second mortgage), and not that interesting, it does have good views of the Chicago skyline. This is a closeup of the ferris wheel on the pier, with Lake Point Tower in the background.

Don't forget they also have over-priced and generally mediocre beer. But, despite all that, it can still make a nice outing on a summer afternoon.
