The title says it all. I post an original photo (nearly) every day, and write a few comments on each one. They're not all great photos, and they don't all show perfect photographic technique (I'm way too fond of chance and happy accidents to always aim for perfection). I hope they are all interesting.

Mid Michigan
Shot while visiting my Mom last weekend. This isn't her yard, like the other photos I've been posting. This is a few miles away from her house.

Mom's Yard Part 3
Here's another photo shot in my Mom's yard last weekend. This was on Thanksgiving day, which was beautiful, sunny and warm.

Home For The Holiday
I spent Thanksgiving weekend at my Mom's in Michigan, and as I often do, spent some time wandering around her yard shooting photos. I'll post some over the next few days.

Happy Thanksgiving
I'll be visiting family over Thanksgiving weekend, and will resume posting on Monday. For those that celebrate Thanksgiving, hope it's a good one!

Autumn Panorama
Shot a few weeks ago in the Dan Ryan Woods, in southwest Chicago.
I've been asked why I don't use Photoshop to seamlessly stitch together the photos in these panoramas. My answer: Because I like them like this. The perspective shifts and out of sync areas are interesting to me. I find seamless panoramas boring.

Atomic Eye
I made this collage a couple of months ago. I've posted it on my Tumblr and my Facebook page, and people seem to like it, so I'm posting it here as well.

Factory
I was driving around, looking for interesting things to shoot a couple of years ago, and happened upon this old abandoned factory on the far south side of Chicago. I shot there a couple of times a few months apart, and it was obvious then that it was in the process of being demolished. It's now a vacant lot.

Jewelry, Stamps, Taxidermy
Shot this outside of a combination nutritional supplement/antique store a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the store was closed, so I wasn't able to go in. Looked interesting, however.

The Gruesome Twosome
Shot with my reversed lens Kodak Brownie camera a few weeks ago. The title of this post refers to a late 60's Herschell Gordon Lewis campy horror film. Wigs play a prominent part in that film.
