Metro

Here's one I found in my files. It's a photo shot in Washington, DC's subway (the Metro) in 2007.  It's cleaned up and color adjusted, and looks better than the Metro does in real life. Having said that, the Metro is the cleanest and nicest looking subway I've ever been in.

Black Sky

Messing around with Photoshop just now, working on something that may or may not work.  I took this image, and using the black and white adjustments, ended up with this:

I like this quite a bit. We'll see if I can get my idea to work.

Fall Berries

Shot a couple of years ago while out walking on a cool, rainy Fall day, the kind of weather I'd like right now.

Three Days Of Feet: Day 2

I wish I had a fun explanation for this, but it's just fooling around in my studio with Japanese toys and a macro lens.

Three Days Of Feet: Day 1

I don't remember where this photo was shot. Somewhere with a lighted floor. Maybe the Chicago Cultural Center-does it have a lighted floor?

They Sell It All

Well, maybe not all, but where else can you get both cheesy photos of President Obama and Gaga-esque wigs? This photo was shot last summer just a few blocks from Obama's house.  I wonder what it would be like to walk down the street and see posters with your face in shop windows? Then again, I bet he isn't taking too many casual strolls down 51st St. these days.

Freedom!

I gave my last exam today, and am free for the summer! To celebrate, here's a nice photo of the Tiffany dome in the Chicago Cultural Center.

Great Wall, Meh Fence

This is a photo of a postcard stuck on a fence in my yard. Sort of a test for an idea I was working with last year, before I forgot about it and moved on to other things.

Fake Deer On A Hill

I shot this a few years ago in Frankenmuth, Michigan, a Bavarian themed tourist town about a 40-minute drive from where I grew up. I've been wantong to go back and do some more shooting there. Maybe I'll add it to the do to list this summer.

Signs

I like this photo, I just wish my reflection wasn't visible in the black center area. Shot a couple of summers ago while riding my bike.

Cocktail

Shot on 55th St. in Hyde Park a few weeks ago.  I like the window light at the top of the photo.

Szoborpark

After a few days of modernist gravestones, here's a somewhat similar looking piece of sculpture, from the Communist Sculpture Park in Budapest. If you're ever in Budapest, go! It's very cool.

St. Casimir V

One more St. Casimir photo, this one also shot with my reversed lens Kodak Brownie camera.
