The title says it all. I post an original photo (nearly) every day, and write a few comments on each one. They're not all great photos, and they don't all show perfect photographic technique (I'm way too fond of chance and happy accidents to always aim for perfection). I hope they are all interesting.

Cool Building, Bad Camera
This past summer, I discovered some old infrared film in a box in my studio closet, and shot a couple of rolls (I posted another photo shot with this film here.) Unfortunately, I discovered that my old 35mm SLR camera is developing a sticky shutter. You can see the results in this photo. The light streak to the left of the corner of the building is caused by the shutter sticking. That makes the camera pretty much useless; the repair would cost more than the camera is worth. I like shooting these mid-century buildings in infrared, and I've got a few more rolls of infrared film, so I'll probably try again next summer with a different camera.
