This panorama was shot from atop Coit Tower in San Francisco on a rainy afternoon in October, 2007. I was actually supposed to be on a plane to Chicago when this was shot, but several hours of heavy rains and delayed flights out of SFO resulted in my flight being canceled. Which was fine with me. I was staying with my sister, so lodging wasn't an issue. I went up Coit Tower for the first time (I'd been up to the tower several times, but never up it), shot a bunch of photos, and later had great sushi at a tiny restaurant in the Richmond District. All in all, not a bad way to spend a day.
